EURACTIV Slovakia, in cooperation with with Embassy of the Netherlands in Slovakia cordially invites you to a roundtable discussion titled Feminist Foreign Policy, a case study of Inclusive policymaking. Discussion will be held on 18 November 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM CET, at European Information Centre (Palisády 29, Bratislava).
ABOUT THE DISCUSSION:
Roundtable: Feminist Foreign Policy, a case study of Inclusive policymaking
Two years ago, the Netherlands adopted a Feminist Foreign Policy, putting greater emphasis on equal rights and equality in its foreign policy. The strategy encourages the Netherlands to adopt a more inclusive approach to diplomacy, centering diverse voices and perspectives. Today, this philosophy has been gradually reshaping its broader policymaking practices.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands would like to share its experience of integrating diverse actors, voices, and organisations into the policymaking process, balancing a range of interests in pursuit of equitable solutions. We invite you to join us for a roundtable discussion with Dutch experts to explore the lessons learned, the challenges, and examine the potential application of these principles in Slovakia.
Panelists:
- Anika Snel, Program Manager Political Lobby, NGO Wo-men
- Marijn van Blom, Coordinator Feminist Foreign Policy and NAP1325 at NL MFA
Please be advised that the panelists will be joining us online.
The event will be moderated by Barbara Zmušková, editor at EURACTIV Slovakia.
